Johnson Uchenna Ozioko hails from Nsukka, Nigeria, and holds a doctorate degree in both Philosophy and Theology. He currently occupies the chair of the Philosophy of Religion and African Philosophy at the Pontifical Urbaniana University, Vatican City. A bona fide member of the Italian Association of Philosophy of Religion, the European Society of Philosophy of Religion and the European Academy of Religion, he has published many books and peer-reviewed articles in different international journals. His latest book, Rationality of the Christian Faith, is a critical examination of the philosophical project of rigorously defending the rationality of the Christian faith by the famous English philosopher and natural theologian, Richard Swinburne.
Docente incaricato presso la Facoltà di Filosofia della Pontificia Università Urbaniana. Ha conseguito la licenza in Filosofia presso l’Ateneo Pontificio “Regina Apostolorum” e il dottorato in Teologia con specializzazione in Spiritualità presso il Pontificio Istituto di Spiritualità, “Teresianum”.
