Peter Jonathan Leyland is Professor of Public Law at London Metropolitan University and Visiting Professor of Law at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He has published widely in the field of comparative constitutional law, on Thailand’s constitutional and legal system and UK constitutional and administrative law. The subject matter of his research has included approaches to comparative public law; devolution, particularly in comparative perspective; freedom of information; utility regulation; and executive accountability – pursued in both a UK and comparative aspect, the latter relating especially to Italy and Thailand.
