Attorney, doctor of law, former lecturer at the University of Paris II Panthéon–Assas. He first defended international civil servants of more than sixty international organizations before some ten international administrative tribunals for twelve years, alongside Jean–Didier Sicault. In 2006, he joined the European Space Agency (ESA), which he served at its headquarters in Paris mainly as head of the Office of Social Affairs and Disputes Settlement. Since september 2013, he has been working at the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich as director of Employment Law. His thesis, defended in 2007 and published in 2009, focuses on the general principles as recognized and applied by the International Labour Organization (ILO) Administrative Tribunal. Since june 2018, he has been included on the list of persons authorized to examine, as judges, appeals filed by officials of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.
