Stefano Jacoviello teaches Semiotics of Culture at the University of Siena. His research interests cross semiotics, aesthetics and anthropology throughout the analysis of objects from the fields of music and the arts. He is involved as scientific coordinator in many international research projects on cultural heritage and performing arts. He also worked on topics as identity, memory, and intercultural translation.
