Geoffrey Janssens
Geoffrey Janssens is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Mathematics and Algebra at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium.
His research lies in the areas of non-commutative ring theory, geometric group theory, classical representation theory of finite groups and representation theory of finite dimensional algebras. Questions bridging several of these areas are those attracting his attention the most. In an explicit or sometimes implicit way, his research is centred around the natural problem of distinguishing groups or algebras by means of invariants.
