Tomás Abad is a Master in Civil Engineering EQF 7 and a researcher. He is a specialist in cultural heritage research and documentation, analysis and dissemination, focusing on the study of cartography as an essential tool for knowledge of territory and landscape. He is a speaker and member of the scientific committees of numerous inter- national and national conferences and journals, and has authored 23 books together with P. Chías (several of them award-winning) and more than 100 articles. As principal researchers, he and Chías have conducted more than 50 research projects funded by the National Plan and other sources.
