Architect, for 40 years he has been researching, teaching, designing and coordinating about territorial cultural networks, within the framework of both participatory sustainable and accessible processes, as like as digital and technological innovation. Some recent commitments in this sense are: the Faro Italia Platform on behalf of the Council of Europe as a dynamic census of heritage communities in Italy, after the definitive ratification of the Faro Convention with law 133/2020; the “master plan for the enhancement of culture and landscape in the Venice lagoon” for the Coordination Office of the UNESCO Site “Venice and its lagoon”, as a network of docking points for slow tourism in the lagoon; the prototype of an accessible and sustainable boat for the organizing committee of the e-regatta at the Venice Boat Show. He was resident faculty both at ILAUD, International Laboratory of Architecture and Urban Design directed by Giancarlo de Carlo (Venice 1999-2003) and at the Study Abroad Course of the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture of the University of Minneapolis (Venice 2000- 2014). He designs an accessible, sustainable and participatory territory, as a stage for interaction between ecosystems, people and cultures.
