Muhammad Ahmad completed his master degree in English at University of Education, Lahore (Pakistan) in 2008 and joined Punjab Government School Education Department the following year. After that he received MS degree in English Linguistics from Lahore Leads University in 2014 and started teaching as a visiting lecturer at the Department of English, University of Education/University of Okara (2015-2018).
In July 2024, he earned his PhD in Applied Linguistics from the Department of Applied Linguistics, Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He is currently serving in the Punjab Government School Education Department and also teaching at the University of Okara.
His research interest covers applied linguistics, language testing and evaluation, CDA, corpus linguistics, and teaching of English as a second/foreign language.
He is working as Editor-in-Chief for Linguistic Forum journal. In addition, he is on advisory board of Reading & Writing Journal.
