Parsa Pahlavn is a conservation architect and assistant professor of architecture at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. He earned his master’s degree in architecture from Politecnico di Milano and his PhD from the University of Bologna, where he specialized in the design of restorative materials for the conservation of built heritage. He co‑directs the Italian Design Summer School at the University of Bologna and has led numerous international design and documentation workshops. In his work he champions architecture that minimizes intervention and construction, yet prioritizes environmental stewardship and the preservation of contextual integrity.
