I am a Mosul-based architect and digital heritage specialist dedicated to the intersection of architectural preservation and immersive technology. Currently, I serve as the Head of the VR Team at QAF Lab, where I lead high-fidelity 3D documentation and virtual reality projects aimed at safeguarding and sharing cultural history. With a deep technical background in architectural plans and virtual reality operation tools, I specialize in integrating 360-degree immersive video, Augmented Reality applications, and Virtual Reality tours for heritage sites. My technical proficiency spans an extensive suite of industry software, including AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Unreal Engine 5, Reality Capture, and Zbrush. I have a proven track record of documenting complex architectural sites as 3D models and utilizing photogrammetry techniques to scan heritage locations. My professional impact is highlighted by collaborations with prestigious international organizations. I worked with the Louvre Museum to create 3D copies of destroyed artifacts and reconstructed the Mosul Museum through digital modeling and a global 360-degree virtual tour. Additionally, I have produced VR content for Google Arts and Culture’s Return to Mosul exhibition and served as the VR Product Lead for the Mines Advisory Group to design a gamified Mine Risk Education experience. My leadership extends to managing the Al-Nouri Mosque celebration ceremony for UNESCO and establishing a permanent Virtual Museum in partnership with Al-Noor University. I earned my degree in Architecture from the University of Mosul and am currently an M.Sc. candidate at the same institution. As a recognized leader in my field, I serve as a National Ambassador for the Tamayouz Excellence Award, having previously been recognized for one of the top 100 graduation projects internationally.
