Thyge Winther-Jensen is Emeritus Professor of Comparative Education at the Danish University of Education, Copenhagen. Previous to that he was a senior lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, Institute of Education. His fields of study are primarily comparative education, history of educational ideas, teaching-learning theory and adult education. From 1996 to 2000 he was President of Comparative Education Society in Europe (CESE).
