Ada Scupola is professor (WSR) in Business Studies at the Department of Social Sciences and Business, Roskilde University, Denmark.
Her recent research investigates the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in service organizations and digital transformation and value creation with digitalization.
Over the years she has participated in several Danish and Horizon 2020 European projects focusing on solving important societal problems concerning digitalization and digital transformation.
She has been opponent to several Ph.D. defenses dealing with different aspects of digitalization in the private and public sector in the Scandinavian countries including Sweden.
In addition, she has supervised many Master students writing projects and theses on many subjects including gender and digitalization issues.
She has been visiting scholar in several universities including University of Texas at Austin, USA; University of Michigan, USA; Queensland University of Technology, Australia; and University of Maryland at College Park, USA.
She holds a Ph.D. in social science from Roskilde University, an MBA from the University of Maryland at College Park, USA and a M.Sc. from the University of Bari, Italy.
She has been the founder and Editor‑in‑Chief for 10 years of the International Journal of E‑services and Mobile Applications.
