Kristen Nawrotzki teaches at the University of Education (Pädagogische Hochschule) in Heidelberg, Germany. She has authored numerous articles and essays on the history of early childhood education and related social policy in the USA, the UK, and inter- and transnationally. Her latest work is Reimagining Teaching in Early 20th Century Experimental Schools (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020), co-authored with Alessandra Arce Hai, Helen May, Larry Prochner and Yordanka Valkanova.
