Professor Ming Chung Chang addresses research on problems of natural monopoly, antitrust and competition policy. Recently, Professor Ming Chung Chang collaborates with Professor Hsiao Ping Peng to reveal the truth behind the veil about capitalism. Intheir viewpoints, capitalism is characterized by the spirit of monopoly, and it is “thezone of both the anti-market and anti–democracy”. They find the theory of AdamSmith and Confucianism, both of them favor an agricultural system of politicaleconomy, could contribute to set up a comprehensive and systemic framework tocriticize capitalism appropriately.
