Adriano Ferraresi graduated in Specialised Translation at the University of Bologna and got a Doctorate in English for Special Purposes from the University of Naples Federico II. He is now a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Bologna, working on phraseology, especially from a corpus-based perspective, and institutional academic English. He teaches an MA module on translation technology and has given invited seminars on corpus linguistics at various Italian and European universities.
