Frances E. Dolan is Distinguished Professor of English at the University of California, Davis (http://english.ucdavis.edu/people/fdolan). She is the author of six books, most recently Digging the Past: How and Why to Imagine Seventeenth–Century Agriculture (2020). She is also a contributor and advisor to The Pulter Project, an open access online edition of the works of seventeenth–century English poet, Lady Hester Pulter (http://pulterproject.northwestern.edu/#).
