She is Assistant professor (Ricercatore SECS-S/03, Legge 240/10 tipo A) at the University of Valle d’Aosta (Italy) and she is a Despina Junior fellow. In 2014, after a degree in Economics and Management, she obtained a Ph.D. in Economics – Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the Vilfredo Pareto Doctorate (Italy) with a thesis in Bayesian statistical models and computations. Her main fields of interest are Bayesian parametrics and nonparametrics, stochastic processes, (Bayesian) mixture models for discrete choices, machine learning, big-data mining and applied statistics in (tourism) economics.
