Mariana Flaişer is a Professor, PhD. at “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Department of Preventive Medicine and Interdisciplinarity of Iasi, Romania. Area of expertise: scientific terminology, lexicology, lexicography, Romanian language as a foreign language. She has published over 100 studies and articles in the linguistic field, in specialized journals and is the author of volumes such as: Music Terminology in the Romanian Language (1997), Name of Professions and Professionals (2009), Introduction to Romanian Medical Terminology (2011), The First Steps in Learning the Romanian Language (2013).
