Ivona Jovanovic is an associate professor at University of Montenegro at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management in Kotor (Montenegro). She teaches French language at the undergraduate level, Language and civilisation at the specialist level and Montenegro in travel writing at the postgraduate level.She received her Ph.D in Philological sciences at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) in 2007. Her doctoral thesis is on the subject of French language and culture in Montenegro (1834-1941). She has published book chapters, numerous articles in scientific journals and has presented papers at academic conferences. Her academic interests areas are cultural tourism, cultural history and langage policy.
