Dr. Nataşa Manole is a lecturer at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iasi, Romania, the Faculty of Letters, the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, the Slavic Unit. Areas of competence: old and pre-modern Russian literature, eighteenth and the first half of nineteenth century Russian literature, Slavic – Romanian cultural contacts, Slavic loans in Romanian, Romanian – Russian phraseology, imagology.
