AbdoulayeWotem Somparé obtained, in 2006, a PhD in Sociology at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales de Paris, with a thesis on social mobility and reproduction in Guinean mining towns, that led him to study work, school and apprenticeship. He is the vice rector of the University Julyus Nyerere of Kankan and a consultant of theWorld Health Organization. His publications and research interests concern the relationships among ethnical groups and social strata in the Guinean society, in firms, political life and emergency situations such as the recent Ebola epidemics.
