Alberto Gelmi is Assistant Professor of Italian at Vassar College, where he also teaches in the Jewish Studies program. His research focuses on Jewish culture in Italy in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and the work and the reception of Dante and Boccaccio. His work has been published on Dante Studies, Bibliotheca Dantesca, Heliotropia, Journal of Italian Translation. With Daniela D’Eugenio he co-edited Rappresentare per Includere: metodi, strumenti e testi per un italiano plurale (Franco Cesati, 2023); with Daniela D’Eugenio e Dario Marcucci he co-edited Italia, Italie. Studi in onore di Hermann W. Haller (Mimesis, 2021). He is associate editor of Heliotropia.
