Starting as a nuclear physicist working on experiments carried at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (Grenoble, France), National Laboratory of Gran Sasso (Gran Sasso, Italy), Brookhaven National Laboratory (Upton, USA), her interests expanded to the applications of radiation in oncology via hadron therapy research (Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata”, Italy) and Monte Carlo Methods for dosimetry and Quality Control (IFO - IRE, Italy). Thru her tenures as a medical physicist, she has also been focused on Radiobiology, Image and Dose Guided Radiation Therapy strategies (PioXI Clinic, Italy / IRST, Italy / Clinique Claude Bernard, France).
She was also associated to INFN for various years, and partecipate to DAMA activities in Astroparticle Physics.
