Anthony A. Gaspari, MD is currently a Professor, Dermatology of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to this, he was the Shapiro Professor of Dermatology and Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at University of Maryland Baltimore, Baltimore, MD. 2005-2015. Dr. Gaspari is the author of over 150 peer-reviewed publications. Including 25 book chapters, and has recently (2012) edited the second edition of a Textbook entitled: “Clinical and Basic Immunodermatology.” He has gained the world’s attention for his role in the Dermatologist volunteering his efforts in Indonesia, and assisting a team of Doctors attempting to diagnosis and treat the “Treeman” of Indonesia (Dede Kosawa). He reviews for a number of major journals, and has lectured both nationally and internationally over his career.
