Premangshu Chakrabarty is a Professor and former Head of the Dept of Geography at Visva-Bharati (a central university of India). Specialized in cultural and tourism geographies, he has contributed more than eighty-five research articles in reputed journals and presented his research results at various international and national conferences. Fourteen scholars have been awarded Ph.D. under his supervision, and three scholars are working presently. He has more than 24 years of teaching and research experience .
