Praseetha Gireesh is a teacher in Milan, Italy, under the Educational Project of Italian Ministry of Education and Merit. Has earlier served as project assistant in the Dept of Library and Information Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Has Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. Her areas of interest include Heritage Informatics, developing information systems using open-source software solutions, library automation, and cost-effective digitisation solutions. She has a few publications to her credit.
