Giancarlo Caroti
Ingegnere, 55 anni, inizia la sua carriera professionale nel 1980 in Enel come Project engineer per sistemi di telecontrollo e voice/data private network. Nel 1991 diviene Enel Director TLC Area N-W. Nel 1997 passa alla start-up Wind come Director of Operations . Nel 2000 in Enel diviene TLC Outsourcing Manager e nel 2003 entra nel Board di Enel.Net con la carica di Operating Director. Dal 2004 in Terna come Special project development Manager (“Grid Monitor and Remote Control” Department) per poi divenire nel settembre 2007 Terna – Cyber Security Manager (“Company Security” Department).Dal 2005 è eletto membro italiano nel CIGRÉ Study Committee D2 (Information and Communications Systems), dal 2006 al 2008 Member CIGRÉ Working Group D2.22 -Treatment of Information Security for Electric Power Utilities (EPUs). Ing. Carori pPubblica molte paper, l’ultima in occasione di 2005 Cuernavaca, Mexico - International Colloquium on ICT for the Power Industry con titolo “Reliable Architecture for Power System Operational Communications”
