Fiene Grieger is a German research assistant and project manager. Since 2006, Fiene Grieger has been working for the isw Institute for Structural Policy and Economic Development, an independent non-profit research institute based in Halle (Saale), Germany.
She has extensive experience in collaborative activities and project implementation in the framework of different EU funding programmes, such as HORIZON 2020, Life , Prevention and Fight against Crime Programme/DG Home, Internal Security Fund/DG Home, Central Europe, and Interreg IVC.
Her main research areas are regional development, chemical parks and logistics, sustainable site development, innovation capacity of European chemical clusters, threat identification and emergency response as well as zero energy building renovation. She specifically works on scientific monitoring and policy analysis. Furthermore, Fiene Grieger is experienced in public relations, editorial work, and active stakeholder involvement.
Within the Life WEEENMODELS project Fiene Grieger is responsible for action A4 (European best practice study) and action E5 (networking).
