Daniele Caronti

Daniele Caronti has been employing in RFI S.p.A since 2001 as System Engineer in the Control Command and Signalling department. Particularly he has been involving in specification, development, functional assessment and realization of ERTMS/ETCS L2 trackside subsystem for Italian HSLs since 2003. He is involved with different roles, both for technical development and commissioning aspects, in projects regarding increase of capability of Italian railway network introducing ETCS (High Density ERTMS Sistem), implementation of ERTMS/ETCS on Italian sections of European Core Corridors and upgrade of RFI's High Speed Lines. He's responsible for the Italian Key Management System (KMS). He has been member of INESS project commissioned by UIC, 3InSat project by ESA, and joint to ERSAT Project, for the integration of satellite technology in ERTMS, since 2012. He participated to WCCR 2006 in Montreal as member of Italian delegation who won the Best Paper Award.
