Krista has an affinity for both graphic design and editorial. As the Communications Manager for ILFI, she plays a major role in crafting the voice and curating content. Krista is also the Brand Manager for the organization, and she helps to shape all visual communications. Krista is a midwest native who relocated to the northwest in 2011, and is proud to call the Cascadia region her second home. She graduated with a degree in Environmental Policy, but has honed her energy into developing herself as an editor and graphic designer. Her greatest passion is working toward a more equitable world, and ILFI serves as a nexus for her passion and skills. In March 2016, Krista transitioned to the digital nomad lifestyle as she travels the globe with Remote Year. She will maintain her role at ILFI and also have the unique opportunity to expand the organization’s reach in South America, Asia and Europe.
