Cristinel-Ioan Murzea has been professor and dean at Universitatea Transilvania Din Brasov, faculty of Law and sociology, since 2008. From 2000 to 2008 he was associate professor and vice–dean at Universitatea Transilvania Din Brasov, faculty of Law and sociology, and from 1996 to 2000 he was senior lecturer at the same university. From 1990 to 1993 he was senior teacher at Pedagogical High School in Brasov. From 1980 to 1990 he was teacher at Industrial High School in Întorsura Buzăului. From 1989 to 2000 he attended doctoral studies in Public law at University of Bucharest, during 2000 he attended postgraduate studies in Public law at Institute of Public Administration in Paris. In 1996 he attended a postgraduate course in the Management of public sector organizations at Istitute of Business Administration, Universitatea Transilvania Din Brasov. He graduated in Law in 1984 and in History in 1976 at University of Bucharest.
