Lijliana Stankov

Ljiljana Stankov completed Doctorate Degree at the Department of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. She worked at the Museum of Education in Belgrade as a curator from 1986 to 2012, where she dealt with the history of Serbian schools and education, that is, preschool education, child and youthwelfare system, professional schools, the development of teachers’ colleges, women’s humanitarian organizations. Since 2012 she has been working as a professor at the College of Professional Studies for Kindergarten Teachers in Šabac, where she teaches Early Education Methodology, Methods of Environmental Teaching and Learning, Methodology of Research in Pedagogy. She has published books: Predškolsko vaspitanje u Srbiji (1865–1957), Pedagoški muzej, Beograd 2010; Katarina Milovuk (1844–1913) i ženski pokret u Srbiji, Pedagoški muzej, Beograd 2011.
