Elena Cirotti graduated in Private Comparative Law at Roma Tre University. After a research pe-riod at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, she disserted a thesis entitled “Big Data: Excludability v. Access” under the supervision of Prof. Giorgio Resta, of which this volume constitutes the updated and expanded version. The Author currently works in the Data Protection team of the international law firm “Allen & Overy”, Milan Office.
