Samanta Viziale holds a double PhD from the University of Turin and the University of Copenhagen, where she focused on visual art from the 19th and 20th centuries and its connections to spiritual movements. She earned a master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology from the University of Turin, and a bachelor of arts in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cuneo.
She later completed a specialization in Art, Anthropology, and Ontology at the University Institute of Lisbon (Iscte), further deepening her interdisciplinary approach. Her main research interests focus on the relationship between art, aesthetics, and spirituality. Most recently, she collaborated with the Center for Applied Ecological Thinking in Copenhagen to co-organize the EcologicArt workshop, exploring the intersections of aesthetics, spirituality, and the environmental crisis.
