Since 2006, Mirela Redzic has been a dedicated lecturer in Mathematics and History, and since 2008 she has taught at Vejen Gymnasium and HF in Denmark. She holds a Cand. Scient. degree in Mathematics and History from the University of Southern Denmark and a Master in Learning Processes, Didactic Management, and Development. Her work focuses on history and mathematics didactics, inclusion, and democratic education, with recognized expertise as an external examiner in Mathematics at Danish universities and as an expert for history education development with Observatory on History Teaching in Europe under the Council of Europe.
Active in international collaboration, she contributes to EuroClio projects and serves as Redactor at H-Net, fostering global dialogue on history education. Originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina and a former war refugee, she brings a strong intercultural perspective to her work, promoting inclusive, balanced, and peace-oriented approaches to teaching history across Europe and beyond.
