Her studies concentrated on macroeconomic issues, international trade and international economics. She is working as a full-time faculty member at Eastern Mediterranean University since 1994 as an assistant professor and later (2008) as associate professor. She was the vice chair in the Department of Business Administration (1999-2005), MBA Committee Supervisor, she prepared and coordinated the International Trade and Business Program and the same program in Turkish. She has written many articles and books.
