Koen Stapelbroek is an Academy of Finland Research Fellow at the University of Helsinki, Associate Professor of the History of Political Theory at Erasmus University Rotterdam and co–Director of the Helsinki Centre for Intellectual History. He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge (2004) and published widely in the field of European eighteenth–century political thought.
