Dr. Cristina Ispas obtained her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timisoara, Romania. After a few years in family medicine in Romania, she went to the United States where she did research in interventional cardiology at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York. She then completed a residency in anatomical and clinical pathology at Saint Barnabas Hospital in New Jersey and a fellowship in cytopathology at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Ispas is a fellow with the College of American Pathologists.
