Blanca Croitor is a Researcher at the Department of Grammar, the “Iorgu Iordan –Alexandru Rosetti” Institute of Linguistics - the Bucharest Branch of the Romanian Academy, Romania. She is a co-author of the Academic Grammar of Romanian (The Publishing House of the Romanian Academy, 2005, 2008), The Grammar of Romanian (Oxford University Press, 2013), A Reference Grammar of Romanian (John Benjamins, 2013), and The Syntax of Old Romanian (Oxford University Press, 2016). Areas of interest: syntax, morphology, word formation, historical linguistics, dialectology, Romance linguistics.
