Dr. Ana-Maria Prisacaru is a Researcher at the Toponymy Department of the “A. Philippide” Institute of Romanian Philology − the Iasi Branch of the Romanian Academy, Romania. Areas of competence: Romanian and general linguistics, onomastics, lexicology-lexicography, history of the Romanian language, translation from German to Romanian. Author of a monograph concerned in the Romanian toponymy from Habsburg Bukovina and author of several professional articles published in academic journals and collective volumes from Romania and from abroad.
