Cristina Scarlat is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Romania. She holds a PhD in Philology awarded in 2013 with the highest distinction, Summa cum laude, for the thesis Transposition of Mircea Eliade Literaryʼs Work in Other Art Languages. She is the author of the volumes: Mircea Eliade. Hermeneutica spectacolului, I, Convorbiri, I, 2008; Mircea Eliade. Hermeneutica spectacolului, II, 2011; she is the coordinator of the books: Mircea Eliade Once Again, 2011, Literatura și filmul/ Littérature et cinéma, bilingual edition, 2014.
