Luis Miguel Ezquerro is a group theorist and full time Professor in Universidad Pública de Navarra (Pamplona, Spain). Graduated at the Universidad de Zaragoza, he achieved his Ph.D. at the Universitat de València in 1983. He has published more than 40 papers in the last 36 years. He also is a coauthor, together with A. Ballester-Bolinches, of the book /Classes of finite groups/, in Springer, 2006. His main research interests are embedding properties of subgroups, characterisations of classes of groups, factorisations, and, recently, fusion systems. He was Vicerrector de Profesorado (Vicepresident of Teaching Staff) of his University between 2003 and 2007.
