Maura Pellei graduated in Chemistry at the University of Camerino in 2003. In 2010 she took the PhD in Chemical Sciences at the School of Advanced Studies at the same University. In 1993 she attended a apprenticeship in theChemistry Department at the University of l’Aquila; in 1994 (january-december) she worked on a research project in asymmetric synthesis at the Department of Chemistry of the University of l’Aquila, being recipient of a fellowship from CNR.
She is co-author of 100 ISI papers (h-index 26) published on international journals (6 invited reviews among these), 2 patents, 1 Highlight and 155 presentations at scientific meetings or proceedings. She was Guest Editor of the special issue of Current Bioactive Compounds (2009, issue 5) entitled “Applications of Scorpionate Ligands in Enzyme Modeling and Biological Studies”.
