Nicola Dengo is currently a Ph.D. student in the workgroup of Dr. Silvia Gross. His field of research concerns the synthesis and characterization of crystalline inorganic nanostructures (oxides and sulfides) mainly through wet chemistry methodologies, such as the hydrothermal synthesis. In particular, the study is dedicated to gain new insights on the surface chemistry properties of such materials, combining both experimental (eg. XRD, SAXS, XPS, Raman, DRIFT) and theoretical (DFT) methods.
Born in Asolo (TV, Italy) in 1990, Nicola Dengo studied Chemistry at the University of Padova, where he obtained both his Bachelor degree (2012; mark: 110/110) and master degree (2015; mark: 110/110 cum laude).
