Born and bred in Milan, Italy, I've been working in the publishing field since 1974, in the service information industry since 1983, on the Web since 1995, at the Bergamo University since 2000. I contributed to the Rough Guides, Time Out, the Italian publishers Mondadori, Hoepli, Zanichelli, De Agostini, Touring Club Italiano, and the Provincial Authorities of Milan. My “a key to Milan” guidebook for Hoepli has been updated and re-published six times. I co-established the CiaoMilano website. I designed and started the first website a Milanese museum ever had on its own, on a commission by the director of Museo Bagatti Valsecchi. At Touring Club Italiano-Touring Editore I've been dealing for a decade (1999-2009) with tourist data management, mobile communication, the European Projects and, generally speaking, this publisher's digital communication.I'm a lecturer on Digital Communication in Tourism at the Bergamo University, a member of Ifitt (International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism) and of Sistur (Società Italiana di Scienze del Turismo).I curated (2011), with Roberta Garibaldi, a Facebook in Tourism ebook published by FrancoAngeli, Milano. I also curated (2010-2011) a multimedia exhibition on Berlin at the Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan, and, starting from May 2012, I'm dealing with a network among Italian house museums, together with ICOM DemHist past-president, Rosanna Pavoni.
