Martino Lo Cascio (Palermo, 1942) è Senior Fellow della Fondazione Economia dell’Università di Tor Vergata (FUET). È stato professore ordinario di Statistica presso la stessa università dal 1989 al 2015 e direttore del Dipartimento di Metodi Quantitativi della Facoltà di Economia dal 1992 al 2005. Dal 1983 al 1989 è stato professore ordinario di Statistica presso l’Università degli Studi di Cagliari e direttore dell’Istituto di Studi Economici dal 1987 al 1999. È stato Visiting Professor presso l’Università di Ginevra nel 1990 e nel 1991. I suoi interessi di ricerca vertono sulla statistica, statistica economica, contabilità nazionale, economia e statistica dell’ambiente e dell’energia ed economia e statistica regionale. Tra le sue pubblicazioni più importanti: The Interdependence model. Martino Lo Cascio (Palermo, 1942) is a member of the Economics Foundation of University of Tor Vergata (FUET). He was Professor of Statistics at the same University from 1989 until 2015 and Director of the Department of Quantitative Methods of the Faculty of Economics from 1992 to 2005. From 1983 to 1989 he was Professor of Statistics at the University of Cagliari and Director of Economics Studies Institute from 1987 to 1999. Was visiting professor at the University of Geneva in 1990 and in 1991. His research interests focus are: Statistics, Economic Statistics, National Accounts, Economics and Statistics of the Environment and Energy, and Regional Economics and Statistics.
