Marta Bertolaso is Assistant Professor of Philosophy of Science at the University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome. In 2012 she has also been Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Philosophy of Science of the University of Pittsburgh. She is particularly interested in the philosophical aspects of scientific practice and of the organizational dynamics of biological systems. She has been publishing various papers in Italian and international Journals. Her previous monograph is Il cancro come questione (2012 FrancoAngeli).
