Stephen R. Rowley

Stephen R. Rowley is Professor of English literature at the Université d'Artois, in Arras, France, where he is Vice President for International Relations and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator. For several years he has been in charge of the co-edition of Etudes Lawrenciennes, an international journal completely devoted to the study of the life and works of the English writer D.H.Lawrence. Poet and writer himself (Lights of the Row, 2011 and House of the Dead, 2014), he has also extensively published on Irish literature and is currently interested in the relation between Lawrence and the poets of the First World War.
