Ester Botta Somparé, after studying International and Diplomatic Relations at the University of Bologna, obtained in 2011 a PhD in social anthropology at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales de Paris. She is the author of a book, published by L’Harmattan, on family and school education in a pastoral society of Guinea. Since 2008, she has been teaching anthropology at the Université Kofi Annan de Guinée, where she directs a research project concerning migrations.
