Magdalena Pfalzgraf is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of New Anglophone Literatures and Cultures (NELK) at the Institute of English and American Studies, Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. She is currently pursuing a thesis on representations of mobility in contemporary Zimbabwean fiction in English (supervisor: Frank Schulze–Engler). Magdalena graduated from RWTH Aachen University with a thesis on diversity in Black British and Turkish–German fiction.
